Can you believe it's been 7 months already? I can't! Time has flown by.... do I sound like a broken record? You've had to hear the same thing every month, I am sorry 'bout that.
Well, the month of July has been an eventful one!
4th of July was celebrated we started off by taking Jaxson to the West Jordan parade then we spent the evening at my mom's house like we do every year. Jaxson fell asleep as we were waiting for the fireworks to start, so we took off and watched the fireworks from the east side belt route... probably the best place to watch fireworks... for everyone but the driver!
The next day we packed up the babe and went camping!
We went with a few of our friends, it was quite the experience... I think I am too paranoid-bugs, bears, sun and lightening. All these things definitely made it interesting, but I realized I need to loosen up before I go again. BUT, I still had a good time! We went up to Blue Lake in the Uintah's. We had camped there about 7 years ago with a bunch of my friends so we weren't really sure where we were going, but we found it! It's a rough ride-not made for everyday drivers, but it's a beautiful lake... until you get out of the car and you are swarmed with flies and mosquitos. Bug spray was a must! Once we got all settled in we couldn't wait to fish! Not one of us in our group caught a thing, but it was fun trying! Around 7pm every night we got lightening and thunder storms that came through for the night which made us call it a night fairly early all weekend. I may have complained a lot, but I can't wait to go again... where there aren't recent bear sightings. :)
The next big fun thing that happened was Jaxson got circumcised. Oh what a joy that has been! Since he was in the NICU they wouldn't do it at the hospital, they were also worried about a mild hypospadius... so we had to wait until he was 6 months to be put under for corrective surgery. I was a stress case, but it went really well and he is recovering great!
Jaxson and I got to meet up with some good friends of ours and explore Wheeler Farm... as many times as I have been there, I've never really gotten to take it in. Since he wasn't fully recovered we didn't stay long, but it was great to catch up, visit and best of all get out of the house! (I tried posting a video, but it isn't working... check back later-feeding the ducks was hilarious!)
... And last but not least. We are pregnant! Yes, already!
We found out yesterday that we are having a sweet little lady! IT'S A GIRL!!!
I am currently 19 1/2 weeks along, half way! Our little girl is due December 15th!
Today was Pioneer Day here in Utah... we went to the parade for a little bit... that's all we got to do.
